ok so the lisbon treaty...good or bad for ireland? we've seen the posters claiming more jobs and a stronger economy but will it really be a good move for us to join with europe? think back to the 1916 rising...so many lives lost fighting for independence and now we want to join up and be part of europe as a whole? will we really retain our neutrality if we vote yes? will it really provide more jobs for the recovery of our economy? we voted against it the first time so why is the government pushing for a positive vote this time? was it not clear that ireland was against it the first time round?
